Your cookie choice
__hs_opt_out, __hs_initial_opt_in and __hs_cookie_cat_pref remember whether you accepted or declined, so we don't ask on every page. These are set whichever you choose.
Analytics (only if you accept)
__hstc, __hssc, __hssrc and hubspotutk come from HubSpot, our customer relationship system. They show us which pages people visit, how they found us and, if you get in touch through our contact form, which pages you looked at before you did.
Google Analytics (only if you accept)
_ga and _ga_E1W6P05X01 come from Google Analytics. They tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found us, so we can improve the site. We've switched off Google's advertising features, so this data isn't used for ads.
Diagnostic progress (stored in your browser)
If you start the Diagnostic, we keep your answers in your browser under vx-diagnostic-progress, including your name and email if you added them, so you can pick up where you left off. It isn't a cookie and nothing is sent to us until you finish. We stop using it after seven days. Choosing Start again or clearing your browser data removes it.
HubSpot keeps a full list of these cookies and how long each lasts at knowledge.hubspot.com (search for “cookies HubSpot sets in a visitor's browser”).
If you decline, Google Analytics sets no cookies. It only receives an anonymous signal that a page was viewed, so we can count visits. That signal doesn't identify you or your device.
